The Natural History Museum kitchen island is a very specific design, made from mango wood and brought to life in collaboration with the museum itself.

With the deliberately worn and faded aesthetic of the wood, the concept of this kitchen island is to create a focal point – one which is inspired by the architecture and features of the museum building, while infusing modern convenience and practical elements.

The end result is a kitchen island which can seat two people at all times or be extended to form a larger dining table when required.

The opposite side from the seating area boasts a couple of storage drawers and cabinets, while the six legs ensure maximum stability on any surface.
