With two single beds which can be pushed together to create a double or used to provide separate beds for two guests, this divan bed stacks the mattresses so that when not in use, they use the floorspace of one single.
The first bed is set atop a frame which curves around the top and base of the bed, and which is open at both sides.
The first bed is also elevated to a height which allows the second bed to fold underneath. The second bed meanwhile is built onto a folding frame which, when opened out, puts it at the same height as the first or top bed.
Homeowners can dress these beds as they wish – though it is important to note that the second mattress will not fit and fold back into place with a duvet and pillows, so these will need to be stored somewhere else for convenient access.
Available in a couple of different colours, the frame of both the top bed and the main body of the foldout bed is covered in a textured fabric which serves to warm the entire structure and create a colourful, bold finish.
