The Habitat Mid Century set of tables takes a natural wood material, lightly varnished to maximise the impact of the grain and pattern and elevates it with a rounded and cut out structure. While the table surface itself is simple and accessible, the frame underneath instantly turns the table from a functional furnishing into a decorative accessory.
The four legs of the table are lightly curved on the outer edge and connect in the middle with a series of curved cut outs. The end result is something which, from the top looks completely standard – but underneath and from the side becomes an interior detail that balances the angular edges of a modern setting.
Add your own table accessories and decorative items to inject colour into the natural wood, or keep the aesthetic and colour palette neutral – instead opting for accessories which play with shape and texture.
