The bobbin pattern involves a series of balls stacked atop each other from the bottom of the lamp to the top, creating a seamless line.
Whether it’s the compact table lamp or the taller floor lamp, the stacked balls are consistent in size and design, and flow cleanly into the gold bulb holder at the top of the lamp which is just visible under the shade.
The balls pool at the bottom into a wide circular base that delivers optimum stability, balanced against the lamp shade at the top of the lamp.
These lamps are wired and so need to be located close to a plug. Having said that, the versatility of the design and the fact that the lamp structures are neutral in colour with natural linen shades and a black or grey stand, means they can easily be used anywhere in the home.
