From the outset, this dining chair does not look like anything particularly unique. However, as is so often the case with Tom Schneider’s furnishings, as you look at it from different angles and perspectives, the frame and design becomes warped. Read more…
Boasting a natural wooden frame and upholstered seat and backrest cushions, it’s the shape of this chair that really elevates its style and aesthetic.
The four wooden legs are mounted to the chair on a wooden base frame that borders the seat pad, with a subtle curve towards the back that sees the two back legs curved outwards.
This kind of subtle design inflection is what makes these chairs special, as the front legs are straight and angled while the back legs curved and bow outwards.
Add to that the light curve on the seat’s backrest, and the fact that the top of the backrest is slightly wider than the base, and you have a chair that is warped in such a way that delivers style and a modern touch on your dining space.
These chairs are the perfect match for a classic wood dining table and are available in light grey with an oak wood finish, and in soft neutrals with a darker walnut wood frame.
