To look first at the material used, both the bedside and chest of drawer units use a dark natural wood, with a subtle varnish to really accentuate the grain and pattern.
The main body and shape of each unit is rounded at the corners, set on a smaller base which makes it look as if the main unit is floating above the ground.
The build of the unit is such that the drawers sit flush to the front, with a border of frame around the edges of both structures.
Cutout handles sit at the centre of the bedside cabinet drawers, creating a circle when the two drawers are closed at the same time. This means the handle of the top drawer is set into the bottom, while the handle of the bottom drawer sits at the top of the drawer frontage.
The same format has been used in the chest of drawers, but with two circles connecting the three stacked drawers.
