This is certainly the case with the Habitat 60 Trac fabric armchair, which appears to be constructed from a series of padded rectangular cushions which are stacked and stuck together to create a comfortable and relaxing frame.
To look at both the armchair and the sofa, you will notice that the two are built from four core elements – all made using the same fabric finish and colour palette.
The sides which double as padded arm rests sit at either end of the backrest and seat frame, with a secondary layer on the seat for extra comfort.
