Made from responsibly sourced, FSC Certified timber, this bed frame is incredibly hard-wearing and solid. The design is sleek, clean-lined and elegant and will provide your sleeping area with a classic looking focal point.
Made from kiln-dried solid mahogany wood on the frame and legs, the wooden head and footboard and side rails are covered in a walnut wood veneer.
The headboard leans back at a slight angle, allowing you more room to lean back while reading or watching TV in bed. The unique splayed feet giving the headboard stability and the shaped front feet mark this bed as a little bit different.
A modern looking bed but with an American 1950’s feel to it. It could have easily been influenced by the earlier German Bauhaus movement as it certainly has an abstract style. These sort of designs are still influencing designers today and this bed shape nods in that direction.
An angular form that would look amazing in a slightly retro or minimalist setting. Wherever you place this bedframe it will look superb! Being produced by West Elm you can be assured of its quality and longevity.
This bed will stand the test of time and like its lasting design influences will never go out of fashion.
West Elm is a homeware brand hailing from Brooklyn, New York, founded in 2002. Which probably explains the bed’s mid-century look. West Elm only use materials ethically sourced from the developing world, collaborating with established and emerging designers to give them an outlet to showcase their work.
